Ingredients:
For the marinade:
500g chicken, boneless and skinless
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt, to taste
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 medium tomatoes, pureed
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon honey or sugar
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
Combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt in a bowl.
Add chicken pieces, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken until lightly charred and cooked through. Set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomato puree, coriander powder, garam masala, and red chili powder. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
Combine:
Add the grilled chicken to the sauce. Stir in cream and honey or sugar. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan, paratha, or steamed basmati rice.
